| Yahoo! After remaking itself in 2004, Yahoo! continues to attempt to gain market share by making frequent improvements and additions. |

When Will Yahoo SERPS Update?
It appears as though the Yahoo SERPS have started to stabilize.
Although I have made drastic changes to 3 sites, their position in Yahoo seems to be stagnate even though the changes are now reflected in the Yahoo cache.
The question now is how often will Yahoo update their SERPS?
Anyone noting changes, please post it here.
Thanks,
~VegasMack

Yahoo’s New Algorithm Yields Poor Results
Since Yahoo changed their algorithm recently many sites that were in the Top 10 can no longer be found.
Looking at the SERPS in many markets, I find it hard to believe that Yahoo will keep the current algorithm without some major tweaking.
The SERPs are just mot very relevant for the most part IMHO, and Yahoo will surly lose market share without some adjustments.
Given Yahoo’s recent moves to increase their market share I believe this to be a short term problem.

I was #1 in Yahoo with my original domain name. That has dropped to #6 and my new domain keeps crawling up a notch (currently at 19) every time I check. This name change was done in Jan. or Feb. and MSN has my new name near the top already but Yahoo still has my old one on the first page.

I have made some major changes on 3 sites and they have already been cached by Yahoo.
Now I am just waiting for them to update the SERPS.

Yahoo! is high on life right now. It said on the financial news that their revenues have doubled recently due to having bought Overture and also increases in searches.
i hope it won't put them so at ease that they are going back to sleep.

I sure hope not Mike.
They were really turning out some relevant searches prior to the recent algorithm change.
I would love to see them get back on track and give Google a run for their money, but unless the produce more relevant SERPS that is not gong to happen IMHO.

Oh gads, let's hope not. But you do bring up a good point, Mike.

When Will Yahoo SERPS Update?
I noted some minor changes in the SERPs yesterday.
Looks like a few more sites have disappeared from the Top 20 in one of y KW phrases.
