Talking Hello from the Sunshine State

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. Got an email from Mack McMillan inviting me to join this forum.

I am a real estate broker and make an attempt at doing my own websites - notice that I said attempt. LOL

Also, willing to learn more - but know that link popularity is important.

Hi Glenn,

From another do-it-yourselfer, welcome to the forum. There are alot of great people here. If I may offer a bit of unsolicited advice regarding your link pages. I notice that they are framed, which is a turn-off to alot of webmasters who are otherwise willing to exchange. I am pretty sure that AA now offers an option of making those pages static (non-framed). That may help you to attract more link partners. Also, you may want to limit the number of partners on each page. Some recommend less than 30/page, some 50/page, but when you start to hit three digits it can be detrimental. Best of luck with the site.

Thank you for the constructive comments. I have been thinking of reducing the number of links per page to 50 or less. Most suggestions that I am receiving are talking about 20 per page.

The link pages that I use for real estate sites are non-framed pages. You have to look at relocation and real estate directory link on the home page - I probably should remove the button in the left nav bar so that it does not confuse anyone. Which link did you use to get to the link pages?

I don't think any of the link pages have hit the triple digits - I am starting to add numbers in front of the links so that someone can see that I am limiting the number of links per page.

Hi HMiller!

Thanks for the shout!

I was out sick for a while and still playing catch up. The Doctor is gonna fix that for me on August 2nd finally.

I probably shouldn’t be posting today, but I just miss hanging out with you guys.

Hopefully, I will be caught up soon and can come out and play more LOL!

Glenn,

On the Adelta Realty site I clicked on the Favorite Links button on the left nav bar to get to the links page I was referring to.

Well I'm glad there's light at the end of the tunnel for you. It's been a rough year for me physically too. Make sure to take it easy and don't go rushing back.
