Greetings From North Georgia !

My name is Harriet Carter and I practice real estate in the North Georgia Mountains.
Helen, Georgia to be precise!
It's a cute little Alpine Village- located just 85 miles north of Atlanta and a "day trip" from Florida!

I specialize in all types of real estate: residential, commercial, farms, land, view lots, rental income investment opprtunity, relocation- you name it!

Welcome to the forum. What is the weather like in the Georgia mountains? I've driven through GA but it's on my list of "must visit" states.

TODAY - the weather in the North Georgia Mountains is rainy.

But we have a wonderful climate with 4 distinct seaons. Spring and Fall are my particular favorites. The humidity is low in Summer and we have very mild Winters. Last year we got virtually no snow, one day of ice storm.

It's a wonderful place to live with beutiful scenic mountain views, rivers and lake. Great people- and only 85 miles north of Atlanta- if you really need to "go metro!"

My in-laws live just up the road from you in Franklin, NC. We manage to make the trip every few months. Very nice country up that way.

Welcome to the forum. My wife's uncle has a summer home in Highlands, NC. We go up there ocassionally.

What are properties selling for in your area? Let's say something average to small size, nice view, average to good condition.

Welcome to the forum Harriet!!! Really great bunch of people here. Judging from your avatar we probably have similar technology related frustrations lol. Just a suggestion, to avoid spam emails, you may not want to list your email address in your signature like it is now. Perhaps make it a live email link with the word "Email" or something like that.
