Hi there, I could use some feedback on my new site. I have about 90% of it completed.

When I first started dabbling in creating a real estate website several years ago I remember reading something about the fact that it's not a good idea to have forms on the home page. However, I've been seeing more & more sites that incorporate them.
However, I'm not sure about such a detailed form on the home page. I'm trying to see it in a buyer/seller's eyes if it's too much, too soon. I think I like Morgan's short contact forms that are tucked on the side of the home page (similar to your Hot New Listings form but a Contact Form). I'd like to hear other's reactions on this as I'm just thinking out loud.
Trying this one out without a home page photo? I'm still thinking of getting rid of mine on my home page but I personally like seeing a real person behind the site. I know I'm in the minority. I do realize you have your photo in your About Marc section.
My only other question is about the small font. I really have a difficult time reading it (the smaller print). If I were a buyer/seller I might move on instead of reaching for my reading glasses. Is this one of his new templates and is it semi-custom?

Unless you have paid for Mapquest Business Solutions, you are in violation of their copyright. This can also lead to your site being banned (DMCA).

If you're web designer placed those images on your site and did not warn you of any repercussions, I would have a serious talk with them. If your web designer has purchased rights to use Mapquest maps on sites, make sure that the right to use the images is transferrable to your site.

It looks good - gives information about the areas very concisely - but what would you expect from a Gator (3 Gators in my family )

Good point HHI Golf Guy. I added those images. This is a template site. I will remove them. Thanks.

I actually added the forms. I have good success with them. I want visitors to easily ask for help. In my opinion the real prospects will ask for help. If I was seriously looking to move or buy a place in another town I would have no trouble filling out a form with my name and phone number. However, others may be different.
I still may add my photo to the front page.
This is a template site. I like the small font but thought about that as well. Thank you for your feedback.

I like the one, simple picture on the home page. Also, I agree with Judy, don't put too much info on the home page (form)..keep it simple. Your "MLS" link does not work as well, but over all, I like the color scheme and it seems user-friendly
