Default Need Help on Background

I am looking at changing my back ground from a black to a neutral color or a custom design. Does anyone have any ideas that has worked in the past. i had a few people tell me that black is a very off color and does not offer a visual motivation.

Try beige, tan, warm gray or cool gray.

black and other dark colors can make photos really pop out. It works best with a modern or chrome type theme.

You know...a ligher shade of black, or any other colour -- the so-called "soft colours" tend to be pleasant to the eye and predispse the visiotr. Try those.

I totally agree with Bigmax. Light colors can make a lot of difference. It makes the eyes relax to see light shades.
