Lightbulb Get more done in less time!

Simply acting busy doesn’t guarantee results. You may be only frittering away valuable time without really getting anywhere. Instead, learn to accomplish much more in less time.

Focus on your goals. What are your goals for today? This week? This month? This year? If you don’t know, you’re not focused. Determine what your goals are. Write them down. Be specific. Prioritize them. Make them positive and realistic. Every time you meet a goal, pat yourself on the back. If you fail to meet one, what did you learn from your failure?

Create a To-Do List. First thing in the morning, break tasks down into achievable parts and list them in order of priority. This way you’ll know what exactly must be done and won’t forget anything. Plus, you’ll do the important activities and ignore the unimportant ones.

Block out your time. Use a calendar, organizer or diary. Do it daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly. Decide how much time you’re going to need for a task, remembering to allow yourself a safety cushion for interruptions and the unexpected. Not only will you be more effective and less tense, this formalized schedule can help you gauge just how realistic your goals actually are.

Stick to it. Review your goals often. Learn to say no to distractions. Plus, don’t forget to reward yourself often for being so organized.

Actually writing things down can be really beneficial. Sometimes there are just too many thoughts going through your head to organize them without putting them down on paper!

I couldn't agree with you more! Also, specifically writing down your goals holds you accountable to change.
