La Mazanilla
La Manzanilla, Mexico is a small fishing village (2000 residents), just south of Boca de Iguanas, actually on the same beach. The beach is lined with palm thatched restaurants serving up a variety of fresh seafood. The waves are generally calm and make for good swimming. The town is surrounded by palm and fruit trees and is situated on the shore of a great mangrove swamp that provides life to a great variety of crocodiles, birds and fish.
