The collapse of Bear Stearns was no secret. In other words... true insiders had predicted this at the beginning of the year. It was not a matter of if it was going to happen, but more of a question of when it was going to happen.
Main street is just working it's way up to Wall Street and now the Fed is reacting because some of their buddies are losing money.
As far as the real estate markets go... California, Arizona, Nevada and Florida have already taken big hits..... Prices for Arizona and Nevada are looking pretty good right now for the solid cash buyer who has lived in their COLD Midwestern home since 1980.
