Question Proper calling Times to Home Buyers...

Ok Folks,

We all work so very hard to get traffic to our sites. Then comes the question about proper calling etiquette. Knowing that clients come to our sites at all hours of the day 24/7 what does everyone think should be our proper calling hours?

Currently we do not call before 8:00a.m. during the week 9:00a.m. on Saturdays or 10:00a.m. on Sundays and we stop calling at 9:00p.m..
However, a lady complained yesterday that we were calling to late even though it was only 8:10p.m.. Just so happened that she was staying with her in-laws even though she had just signed in to our site.

I still think we are within our allowed time lines what do you think the proper calling times should be?

The easest solution is to add a "Best time to call" field on the registration form. That will help those that work odd shifts and also help your calls to be more productive.

I agree with that statment.

Though I find myself online late in the evening and have gotten messages from people looking at homes online, and I have called them at 10PM without having troubles, but the call was just minutes after there contact form submission with phone number came in.

I would be careful about calling late, even if they are on your website. Many times I'm out browsing while my wife and kids are sleeping. I would like really like a call at that time.

I usually make calls during hours I wouldn't mind receiving calls (mainly normal business hours), but you should always be aware of timezones! I prefer email communication, but I do think that it is important for RE agents to speak to their potential clients.

I do it during typical business hours unless they request a special time to call

9 a.m.-9 p.m. every day of the week, but I try to stay away from 12-1 and 6-7 because of typical meal times.
