Default Why Would You Hire A Coach

I am looking for some feedback from Realtors as to why you would hire a Real Estate Coach and Consultant and what some of your fears and concerns may be.

1- Specifically, what do you need the very most help with?

2- What are your greatest obstacles in business?

3- What are your greatest frustrations?

4- What are your greatest strenghts?

5- If you could eliminate or greatly improve one thing in your business,
what would it be?

6- What would your description of a great coach be?

7- If a coach could help you achieve your goal(s) what would this be worth to you? In other words, what would you be willing to pay?

8- Have you ever had coaching?

9- What was your experience, positive and negative?

10- Would you consider a coaching program again?

Thank you so much for your help. I am assisting a friend of mine in growing his business and I'm looking for some personal insight.

Warmest Regards,
Kandy

Default Re: Why Would You Hire A Coach

Hi Kandy, I recently did coaching to help get a lead generation/marketing system up and running. Obviously complete howto systems and accountability were the 2 biggest reasons to do coaching for me. Most of the other stuff you mentioned was or is secondary IMHO. I paid $200 a month and recieved 2 30 minute calls a month and all of the systems to get the ball rolling. We had our best year last year and while I can't credit it all to coaching I will say it got us off on the right foot and gave us what we needed. I will definately consider coaching again but this time it will be very specific to the type of marketing and lead generation that we do. We are now doing well and will always continue to want to learn more and sharpen the skills we already have.

Default Re: Why Would You Hire A Coach

The genleman I am helping actually does Coaching & Consulting. Two totally different things.

First, he actually helps you set up systems to manage all your leads and contacts. This includes software, lead sheets, buyer's guides, seller's guides, listing presentations, marketing, hotlines, etc. He reviews all your advertising and helps make it work better, together with implementing new marketing with proven results. Additionally, he spends a great deal of time working with you on scripts and dialogues so you can actually convert more leads and have better control of your time.

If you do not have an assistant, that's the first step. He'll actually help you write ads, interview and train not only your assistants, but buyer's agents and others as well.

Most all of his agents and teams are doing over 100 and upwards of 600 transactions per year. I am of the belief that there is a great need for those looking to double their business from 25 transactions to 50 and 50 to 100 for a more modest fee.

The coaching side of his business continues after the implementation of the systems and keeps you on course and consistently moving in a forward direction.

He's constantly in the trenches with these teams from all across the country and he is getting feedback from everyone on what's working and what isn't, so keeping abreast of market conditions is not an issue.

It seems that there are varying views on coaching. Has anyone ever had the type of coaching I am speaking of, or would it be of interest to you? I'm talking about really running your business like a business. It's not for everyone, but it is for those who really want to grow their businesses, run it like a major corporation, have more free time and net more money.

Thoughts?

Question Re: Why Would You Hire A Coach

Real Estate Team Coaching,

IMHO...I think we all need Coaches and or Trainers even best of the best have Coaches! After all that's how they got there! Probably the main benefit is that fact that you now have someone that will help to hold you accountable to your goals if you have goals if not how are you going to work a plan without goals?

I know having been a student of one of the Top RealtorŪ Coaches out there Brian Buffini. That if you really want to be a Pro you will need a coach or at least a accountability partner.

KandyC what type of fees are involved and how many different programs does your Coach offer?
