Question What do you think of the forclosure tours in California

I was watching the news and saw a new trend in California, forclosure bus tours. Realtors and loan officers taking potential clients on tours of the forclosed homes in the area. Great idea, not sure exactly how it works.

It sure would be nice to have so many buyers I had to charter a bus to take them around. I doubt it is a trend. Probably more an idea.

yeah, they have so many forclosures in one area that they are enterprising on taking interested buyers on tours of these homes,I guess if they sign up for the tour them they agree to work with the realtor and loan officer conducting the tour.

I read an article about this...

Great idea, kind of crazy that there is that many in an area to create tour bus worth of buyers.

I can understand there being enough foreclosures for a tour but I don't believe there are that many buyers.

IMHO, if there were that many buyers they wouldn't be having the foreclosure problem. Sounds like another gimmick.

Interesting idea... kind of like the bus tours we had going for new las vegas homes a couple of years ago. But.. as Bigtoe wrote... there is a reason why there are so many foreclosures. (Gimmicks such as bus tours for one.) It does have an auction concept -- get everybody in one place at one time creates a sense of urgency.
