Lightbulb Embrace Training Opportunities That Propel Your Long-Term Success!

"Success in business requires training and discipline
and hard work. But if you're not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were."

David Rockefeller, the prominent American banker, philanthropist, world statesman and patriarch of the renowned Rockefeller family, highlights three key ingredients to success: training, discipline and hard work. In the constantly changing mortgage arena, these are crucial components for your business plan and growth as a productive broker.

Positioning yourself for long-term success can be challenging, but there are countless training resources available to you. Identifying and taking advantage of training opportunities should be built into your business plan, helping you to achieve overall growth. Learning should be a lifetime endeavor that helps you reach your goals.

Attending a live training event?
Make sure to take good notes.
Gather any available handouts to build a library of reference materials.
Stay around after the session and connect with speakers to get answers to your questions.
After the seminar ends, jot down the three most important items you learned and post them on your wall or computer as a constant reminder.
Make an action plan with three concepts you took away from the seminar and implement those ideas immediately.

Taking part in on-demand seminar or training call?
Follow many of the steps above, just from the comfort of your own desk.
Download any and all materials to use as a reference guide in the future.
Don't be shy! If you have the opportunity to ask questions, do so!

Whatever training opportunities you consider or attend, make a plan and optimize your time to enhance your skills and grow your business.

Yes, attending training and not taking full advantage of it is pointless. If you do not come prepared and do not obtain as much information as possible, then why go?
