Lightbulb Reconnect with Your Clients & Solidify Partnerships!

Don't miss out on maintaining (and building!) a strong database this holiday season. Now is the perfect time to contact past and potential clients and business associates, as well as outline your marketing plan for the coming year.

Here are several simple strategies to leverage the holidays and stay ahead of the competition:

1. "Send the very best" to your entire database. This is the time to send a Holiday card and or gift to your clients and a contacts.

2. Make face-to-face contact. People are home more during the holidays, so it's advantageous to knock on doors and deliver small gifts such as tree ornaments or candy to your contacts. Give thanks to those who have referred business to you or otherwise supported you in your business endeavors. With your gift, include a customized card with your name and contact information.

3. Provide information. While you're making calls to solidify referral partnerships, let your contacts know about any special community celebrations, events or displays. And with tax season right around the corner, make sure financial planners are on your list! Tell them how their clients can use their mortgage as part of their overall financial plan to reach their financial goals. Also consider teaming up with key referral partners on some gifts and events—join together to lower expenses and build rapport!

4. And remember! As you connect with customers and referral
partners, collect email and home addresses to build your database. Also, be sure to add your personal holiday list to your business database. After all, you never know where the next great lead is going to
come from!

Face to face contact is really important, as is virtual and over the phone contact! I think that things as small as aniversarry and birthday cards are great for keeping your name and information in front of past clients.

I feel that keeping up with past clients here in the Las Vegas real estate market is crucial. Often times agents forget about clients once they receive their commissions and that is a surefire way to miss out on future sales!!

I agree that face to face contact is always best when trying to reignite relationships, but any contact is better than no contact! I think back often to how many referrals and repeat I must have missed early on in the business due to not following up!
