Hey rgloans, I think you should definitely find agents who can close deals. In our business, you'll sometimes find agents who're willing to keep driving their prospects around for weeks or months without exploring ways to close a deal. That'll be bad business for both of you. My 2 cents!

I can totally understand you I have seen an agent work as long as a year for a purchase, I donet want to wait a year to close a deal, so the big questions is how do I know who these agents are?

I don't know think that you ever really know how well and agent will do unless you give them a chance. I mean you can always choose to feed "big time" agents, but often times here in the busy Las Vegas real estate market, they are too busy and end up giving the deal to their buyer's agent or a les experinced agent. I guess what I am trying to say is somehwat of a trial and error. I would choose someone who you would not mind dealing with on one of your own trasactions. Once you find a great agent who is willing to put in the time it takes, then you will be set for good!

I think that Las Vegas Homes hit the nail on the head when she said that you will not know who the right agents are until you try some! I think that agents who appraoch you and aeem eager to obtain business are the ones in which I would try out. Why go afetr some bif-time agnt who is not in need of business and has no motivation because they already have clients? The Las Vegas real estate market, for example, is very competitive, and you have to want to work in order to get referrals in general!

Yes, the more agents you trym the more options you will have at building personal relationships with them, whoch we all know make the best working business relationships. I do not think that you will be able to tell a "good" agent from a bad one without using them first, at least you cannot from my experience here in the Las Vegas home market. Some agents in which you think will knowck your socks off will really dissapoint you, and others that you are going out on a limb for may end up being your best ones yet!
