Realized the other day while driving down Collins Ave heading south from
Hallandale Beach through Sunny Isles and Surfside to
Bal Harbour that there are only two or three old 2 story motels left on the beach side of the street. Quite the change from when I arrived here 6 years ago and the first mega-towers were just starting to be built of which there must be something like 20-25 either finished or still under construction.
Meanwhile our markets here in
Sunny Isles, Aventura, Surfside and Bal Harbour are beginning to pick up steam again as buyers after pausing/waiting for a downturn that never quite materialized are stepping up to the plate once again fueled by sellers realizing that their prices needed to come down a bit. Might we be off to the races again? Stay tuned!
