Default One Way Link

www.realestaterag.com

Hi, I just started this real estate/mortgage article submission website. It is still in its infancy and will continue to grow. Write some valuable real estate or mortgage articles with a one way link back to your website.

The home page is not cached by Google yet since the site is so new. The software designed assured me that the articles will be cached and indexed by Google.

Any feedback to make the site better is appreciated.

I am afraid that sites dedicated to nothing but articles submissions such as this will be seen by Google in time as spam and google will decrease the value of these links. Whereas the site will acquire content and if done correctly will rank for those keywords that it targets. SO this kind of site gets free content and the advantages of ranking without passing any real link value to the writers of those articles in time.

IMHO Google is moving to larger sites. What I mean by this is that Google is going to be giving more weight to sites based on the size of those sites verses the other sites targeting those same search phrases. A large site will have more advantages than a smaller one even with more backlinks in the smaller site than the larger one for those same keywords.

More and more people are creating article directories. It is not going to take long for Google to pick up on this and discount those links as they have other linking schemes.

Using your logic does that mean Google will discount Realtors reciprocal links and one way links from websites like this and other real estate forums?

I plan to make www.realestaterag.com more than just an article submission site. I will gradually be adding content as time goes by to make it a valuable, content rich site for the real estate/mortgage consumers.

You might be right about larger sites having an advantage. Who knows. But, a big site was once a small site. I'm don't really understand how this relates to an article website.

I agree that Google will eventually discount links from the generic article website containing numerous unrelated topics because there does not seem to be much value there. The article websites are popping up everywhere. I wanted to make an article rich website for the real estate and mortgage industry because I could not find many out there.

I have to imagine Google would value a link from a page with a real estate related article rich with content that the end consumer finds useful more than "Marc Rasmussen, let me help you buy or sell Sarasota real estate." on a Realtors website page with 50-100 other agents links saying basically the same thing. Where is the value there? I still participate in link exchanges because it seems to work. We will find out if the reciprocals will be discounted in the future.

We all do the link exchange thing for the search engines. In reality, what are the chances of some guy visiting my Sarasota site and going to my link page to find a Realtor in Las Vegas? Slim to none. So is there really much value in those pages other than for the search engines?

Take a look at www.ezinearticles.com and what they have done. They have over 111,000 articles submitted to their site. I know a few non article writers that use this site to get information from "experts" in various fields. This is valuable to many people which the search engines must like.

Thanks for your feedback. :-)

Default Google cached www.realestaterag.com

Google has cached a bunch, not all, of the pages at www.realestaterag.com. Feel free to submit articles or mini article to get a one way link back to your site.

Here is an example of an article that a Realtor wrote about Mid Ohio Valley Real Estate that was just cached by Google. Notice that the title of the page is Mid Ohio Valley Real Estate making it SEO friendly. When submitting an article you can change the title to make it more search engine friendly.

Thanks.

Thank you for posting your articles. Real Estate Articles has 63 real estate and mortgage related articles posted. About 1/2 of them are cached by Google and giving one way links to the author.

I have to agree. How many directories do you see in your backlinks now? Forum sites? GUESTBOOKS I think in the long term it won't hurt, but I would balance it out with traditional recip links. Just my two cents.
