Default How to set up a links page to boost PR

Now that my site is mostly finished I wanted to set up a reciprocal links page with other realtors to start boosting my page rank and popularity. How does one do that? Is it simply having them give you their info to put on it and you give them yours? Or does it have to be written a certain way? Judyo mentioned on a response to my site review thread about adding a reciprocal link on their. I am still getting the hang of this, slowly but surely, so if anyone could explain it, as if they were explaining it to a child, that may help. Don't worry about offending, sometimes I am a child and I know it....LOL

Default Real Estate Directory

There are several Links programs and scripts that are out there that can help.

It is best to use the information from your link partners. Generally the have specific anchor text and description they are using.

Create your Directory.

Try not you use the word “Links” in the title, H1 or meta tags.

Do not place over 40-50 links per page.

Categorize your links for your visitors.

Only exchange links relative to your site.

You can look at Al’s Directory to get some ideas at www.sandiego-house.com/agents/index.html

Thanks Mack,

I saw on another thread that you were using links manager. Do they do everything for you as far as setting up the links on your site? Is it worth the money?

thanks,

J.T.

I don’t use Links Manager any longer. I now use Reciprocal Manager.

You have to set it up your self, but it isn’t that difficult.

Much easier than others that I have set up.

It cost $69 if I remember right and is well worth the money, plus you don’t have the reoccouring monthly fee like you do with LM.

LM will set it up for you though.

BTW – I forgot to tell you DO NOT set your link pages up in frames.
