Showing Property w/ Lap Top...
How many of you actually take your lap-tops on the road when showing property?

I don't, only becasue I use the TREO 650. I have this program called "Pocket Real Estate" on it, and it allows me to access the MLS from the road, which comes in really handy

LVH, which version of Pocket RE do you have? The wireless or the software? I talked to the people at Pocket RE and they told me that the software occupies 20MB of space. I'm not sure if she knows what she was talking about since the TREO 650 only comes with 23 MB total. There won't be enough space for anything else. She also told me that it can't resides on the SD card. That's a bummer. If you use the wireless version, is the download fast enough?

Hey guys...
I have a TREO 650 as well and love it...However, I really don't feel the screen is large enough to give the home pics a fair viewing. My Sony laptops screen is just barley large enough! So, to answer your question I always have my laptop with a Verizon Wireless Card with me. I mainly use it for contracts since I carry my mobile printer as well! Anyone else use the TREO w/ Pocket Real Estate for showing properties?

I also have the "Pocket Real Estate" program (wireless), and it uploads perfectly fine! I don't surf around on it all day or anything, but if I am on the road and need an MLS number, agent ohone number, etc, it works great!

Got ya...We have two other sources for that...
1. Our Supra key downloads all the listings and agent info!
2. Anytime MLS is a service that you can call the address into and it will connect you to the Agent!

Very Austin Powers. That is amazing, my supra key just opens lock boxes, I think. I have yet to get all the high tech gadgets, I actually still take clients out on my bike.
