We are looking for suggestions on marketing tools agents typically use to get listings and clients at open houses. Any suggestions on tools that you have found helpful would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "clients at open houses"? If you mean strategies to attract traffic, then I would say "open house" signs and in-house marketing (to your co-workers and brokerage).

Actually, I was referring to closing the people who are walking through the door. What tools are typically used to create a relationship between the person walking through the open house and the showing REALTOR?

With regard to using the internet, we are actually a marketing company that offers tools to REALTORs to help them expand their reach both online and off-line. I had asked the question about open house tools because I think that open houses are an excellent opportunity for a showing agent to obtain new listings and I was wondering what other agents were using.

At the open house ofcourse you ned to talk to people, try to make a lasting impression, give your cards, putting an apple pie in the oven might not hurt either.
