Default Client Management

I have been through countless demonstrations and training sessions on a wide variety of functionally-rich software tools for Real Estate agents. The trend I am seeing are tools that combine a number of useful functions into one software package. Content Management, client management, search and mapping capabilities, MLS access and lead generation to name a few.

What is happening is that agents start using one of these packages, and use it effectively for sometime. Then a new tool is released and now the agent wants to switch to this new tool.

My question is this - After a year, two or maybe more of using the former tool, is there an easy way to export all of your "life's contact information" into the new tool? Sure you can probably export as a .csv file (excel file) and "maybe" import into the new tool, but is there an easier way that someone has seen or heard?

Well, I have heard that Outlook Responder is really efficient. I recently went to a Las Vegas real estate success seminar and the presenter was stuck on this new Outlook that does everything!

I've used SugarCRM for real estate clients before. Most seem to like it as a web based Contact Management System but UltimateIDX will have some of these features in it so that is the direction I'm pushing people toward.

Top Producer is a good one to use, but I have also heard about Outlook Responder lately. I went to a success seminar on technology and that was all that they talked about! I am thinking of switching over!

yep outlook responder is a good choice. Just shy of going full blown with something Like Act! It would be my choice. But for people who are mobile and intend on receiving contacts via their web page and then manage that contact ,,,,,, Well if they cant wait for UltimateIDX then SugarCRM is easy to install and for an individual its what I've suggested to many Realtors.

I'll have to go look at Outlook Responder a bit more so I can get that tutorial on it published.
