I used to do mortgages but nowadays I can't stop reading about all the short term products that have taken over and it is a little scary. People are more in debt now than ever and all the i.o products and pay option arms have allowed so many to borrow and then borrow more using there house as leverage, and the foreign markets are buying the bundles like crazy. It is a set up for disaster.

We have been hearing for years that the Real Estate Industry was going to Bust...and it’s still very strong! There are homes here in San Diego that still sell within the first week and everyone thinks that the market is really slow! I just sold one of my investment homes in Dallas and it took three years to turn it there!
Ouch...

Well, it is also a peronal choice. It's just like a credit card, if you allow yourself to get in over your head, in some cases here in the Las Vegas real estate market, WAY over your head, you are going to have to PAY!!!
