Thumbs up Rates

Rates are as low as they have been in a very long time. Even though they raised prime again, they treasury bond is holding and rates are EXTREMLY attractive right now. Just another selling point to your customers to buy and sell now rather than later.

Any predictions on when interest rates will go up?

I have said this before and I will say it again, if I knew that, I would be a millionaire !!!

They have been holding for now. All I can say is that now is a great time to buy a house and now is a great time to lock in a rate.

I would imagine they will inch up over the course of the next few months. They have to control inflation so it is going to happen one way or another.

The good news is that they are holding for now. I am excited for rates to go up because it will weed out the competition. Over the past 3 years everyone and their brother has got into real estate or mortgages. Only the strong survive.

Default Now Is the Time to Buy Real Estate

Well the one thing that is almost certain is that mortgage rates will NOT go down, so like you afm1 I believe the time to buy real estate is now.

LOL. Good point, I'm staying out of that one! I think that we should just all be glad that rates are where they are, and take advantage!!
