LOL.
It is funny you say that. Anyone can learn the basics of mortgages in about 2 weeks. Literally. But I seriously learn something new everyday. The "experise" comes from just doing it everyday. I am actually an infant in the industry as I have only been doing mortgages for 3 years now. I just took it to another level and learn all that I can.
The only thing I have never done is new construction. It is a niche area and I never really had the need to tap into this market. I know it can be very lucrative, but because so many builders now have in-house lenders, I decided not to pursue this area. I obviously know the basics, but I have never actually done one for someone.
If you ever have any questions, please fell free to ask. That is why we are all on here to educate each other about different areas of expertise. I love sharing knowledge.
Think about this. Ever wonder why we don't have high school or college classses explaining how credit works? Or mortgages? It truly is capitalism at its best. I still learn so much everyday, but it is scary how much 95% of americans don't know about credit and mortgages.
