That's not true at all. The pyramid structure is still the best way to develop and solidy KW themes. The reason that you might see this structure of pages going into the supplemental index is probably due to other reasons (like what Google considers boillerplate template design) than hierarchal structure of the site.

After more research, I have seen that even pages in the supplemental index still help build and solidify your site wide KW themes. The SI pages still will not rank well (or at all) for competitive KW's, so if you are trying to get those pages to rank they need to be out of the SI.

As far as something like the Ultimate IDX is concerned, if their individual listing pages go supplemental I have come to the conclusion that it's not that big a deal - as long as the on page optimization still targetes the main KW themes.

HHI Golf Guy; Yes, very accurate what you said.
I wanted to expand on this regarding UltimateIDX.

"Boilerplate Templates" is the reason the design policy and methods have changed with TBE and UIDX. UltimateIDX addresses this in a rather slight but effective manner.

Mack and I have discussed this and we came up with a solution to avoid the "Boilerplate" issue in site structure by using a few very small but clever additions I cant really discuss yet.

After spending 14 months (as of April 2007) with coders, designers and other alleged experts, each teeming with bold self efficacies, we entertained both pessimist and optimist beliefs on figuring out the best overall approach.

There are ways to avoid supplemental indexing which I'll write an article on later today in reference to site design procedures. I'm not arrogant enough to believe I have all the answers but we have done our homework and I'll share some thoughts.

Hi LVH,

Sorry for the delay getting back. My main system was hit with a virus and has been down several days.

As was explained, you placed your order while we were right in the middle of a major revision.

During this rewrite we fond inherent flaws in the Data Base that could potentially cause catastrophic failure under various scenarios.

As of Wednesday 4/4/2007 at 1600 that has been entirely remedied and we are load testing on several Vegas sites currently.

Once this testing is completed (hopefully by Friday 4/6/07) we can then start integrating the remaining features. If all goes well we should be able to start new installs by the first of the week.

Your “month” is not up till Thursday the 12th, but for those of you that have seen the Demo, Version 2 is Version 1.06 on steroids. Well worth the wait.

Hi Tony,

Our email must have been caught in your spam filter.

Basically what it said was that since you have been contemplating an IDX system for your wannanetwork we would need to have a non-disclosure/non-compete agreement executed before we could install the UltimateIDX™ for you and that would be AFTER Version 2 is finished and tested.

As you have indicated to Al interest in deployment of the UltimateIDX™ in several markets I will mention that one of the main features or Version 2 will be the ability to map a new MLS for deployment in hours vs days.

Since we seem to have an email issue, please PM myself or Al if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

~VegasMack

Its not important but just to clarify, the 12th of March was when it was suppose to be installed the first time, I was referring to when I placed the order which was on the 4th of March.

Either way I am glad to hear that installs should start to take place around the first of the week.

I did receive that email but I am still waiting on the noncompete letter from your attorney. I need to set up a system for our office for our agents to log into. I would have had my team design the system, but because how indepth the system needs to be and their work load is full with Wanna Network, I wanted to go with your system.

Let me know on that letter.

We have been getting "any day now" from the developer. The very moment we know I'll publish an announcement and Mack can bulk notify by email those whom queried.
