I am working on a listing management object and could use some feedback on the listing form. I want to keep it simple and have only the "must have" fields and selections. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Here is the first draft.

Frobn I have a couple of suggestions. 1st I would get rid of the parking drop down and just add garage 1-4+. 2nd I would add Pool and Spa yes or no. 3rd add lot size 1/4 acre or less, 1/4 or more, 1/2 or more, 1+ acre. 4th I would add neighborhood field that the agent can imput. 5th Fianancing field. IE: Conventional, FHA, VA, OWC ( Owner Will Carry ) AITD. 6th I would add a special offer type field. Make this a place where the real estate agent can offer any special incentives for this property.

Frobn I thought of one other tool to add to this form. It would be very useful if something could be put in place to upload photos of the property. I would say a max of 10 but no less than 8.

Have a script that would optimize the photos so as to not slow down the page loading. Set the script to optimize to 72 dpi for each photo. Allow to system to show 1 large photo with 7 small thumbnails that you could mouse over to show a larger image.

Lots happening.

For the ultimate IDX we just completed a test with 50,000 listing on our new listing engine and without a hitch. Its at least 10 times faster than openrealty.

On the Ajax front we Ajaxified the navigation and comment area on our Integrated Realtor Blog.

Very nice Frobn, the only advice I could offer after taking a quick look at it is that the url strings need to be shorter. I clicked on the Mortgage calculator and the url strings it produced is way to long for Seo benefits. I would consider some type of mod_rewrite for those.
