NealR...

That is a great idea...one I think worth researching... but other than Google Adsence I don't have any contacts to help you! If you do indeed find out who those are please let us know as this could very well help us all!

I tried using Adsence, however I could not really contact the contents of the ads. I blocked all the FSBO sites and junk sites at the start. However, there was no way that I could remove them as fast as they were being added. As soon as a FSBO ad appeared on my site, I would get a call from a client. I removed it after 2 days.

"When we survey clients and consultants, we find that there is an ongoing conflict between what clients want and what many consultants sell. The majority of consultants are focused on selling hours and the processes that they use. The majority of clients want a specific result, not a process."

There are many ways you can do online advertising. Either payable or free.

Here are some online advertising you can do in low cost.

Send Solo Ad.

Post your website to search engine. But you should know how to make your site post at the top rank. Otherwise you would get any traffic because nobody will read out all the search.

Post article to article directories is the most effective way to drive traffic.

Start a blog related to your business.

Participate in forum discussion.

You must also know where to find your customers?
How to determine who are your targeted customers?

I am sharing my free ideas in
-How To Start A Low Cost Internet Business?

-Advertising your business to million of people in low cost.

-Marketing strategies to make your customers buy from you again and again.

-Minimize your business risk to minimum level.

I agree with yougotcha. Advertising -- whether online or not -- is essentially a question of whether you pay for it or not, and since the objectives and methods are pretty much similar in both cases, it then all boils down to which one is more efficient. This would then depend on what kind of service you'd be offering. A combination of forum posts, free blog items as well as pay-per-click advertisement is perhaps the best solution.

But then it all depends, like everything else anyway.
