How to Market to the Generation X Homebuyer!
How would you like to get your fair share of leads from the new generation of home buyers?
They are 37 million strong and they are not like any other generation you have ever experienced working with. The most powerful way to reach them is thru technology and buzz marketing. If you don't know how to get started (or need to kick your marketing up a notch) this online seminar is for you.
So, what's different about them?
They expect one-stop shopping options.
They have different tastes in real estate.
They are risk-takers who are more likely to look at new loan programs.
They embrace technology and rely on blogs.
They comparison shop and they want it FAST!

LOL, too funny! I agree with everything SDRE said. We have to be more adventurous and try new things, as they are a newer, more "hip" generation!

These days young adults are buying much earlier than in past years. There are more job opportunities now then there were years ago. The Las Vegas real estate marker certainly has career options...

Re: How to Market to the Generation X Homebuyer!
With all the technology out there, it's easy for someone that is much more tech savvy than some of us and make a killing on the internet. I hear stories all the time about kids in their teens making millions...what ever happened to the Cartoon Network and Video Games...now were competing with teenagers?
I did read something about the fact that Text Messaging is a good way to get to these buyers...

Re: How to Market to the Generation X Homebuyer!
As a gen xer here is my 2 cents. Have a user friendly website, if you can't or don't have high placement on the search engines then promote your site like heck in as many mediums as possible and give them a reason to go like a direct response headline. Respond quickly to all inquiries and don't have the site be a huge ad about you, make it about them. If you have high placement then only do the other things I stated lol. Just my opinion.

Re: How to Market to the Generation X Homebuyer!
The key is that they embrace technology, want to feel special, and need to know that you are different from any other agent out there. I say use technology to your advantage. Blog, join online networks and differentiate yourself from the competition.
