OK, that's a crude analogy. There are a lot of neat tools that can be placed on a real estate site, but they are a wasted expense unless you have web site traffic. First, invest your money in bringing
targeted, quality traffic to your web site. Once you have a steady stream of potential prospects and buyer clients, then you can add more options.
How do you get quality, targeted traffic to your web site. There are three basic options:
1. Through your print media campaigns. A carefully designed and worded campaign (more than just sticking your URL in the ad) can bring you a ton of traffic.
2. Pay per click campaigns.
3. Search engine optimization campaigns.
You need to analyze the risk / reward factor for all of these and decide if you will invest in one, two, or all three of these marketing campaigns.
