Default Internet Tools

I'm a realtor and I'm very interested in ideas that help my website get more hits. I've done a lot of research in the field of marketing and what makes websites more useful. I'll be honest, I'm new to this blogging experience, and I'm excited to learn what everyone here finds useful. Anything that attracts more customers right? But I was searching the web and came across this website that has a map that allows people searching for a house to see a map of the home and where it is located. The site was called www.myeasyhomefinder.com. I thought it was interesting, but was wondering what other people thought of it or if anyone had seen anything like it. Also, I'm interested in any other internet tools that people have found. I'd appreciate anyone's help!

OK, that's a crude analogy. There are a lot of neat tools that can be placed on a real estate site, but they are a wasted expense unless you have web site traffic. First, invest your money in bringing targeted, quality traffic to your web site. Once you have a steady stream of potential prospects and buyer clients, then you can add more options.

How do you get quality, targeted traffic to your web site. There are three basic options:

1. Through your print media campaigns. A carefully designed and worded campaign (more than just sticking your URL in the ad) can bring you a ton of traffic.

2. Pay per click campaigns.

3. Search engine optimization campaigns.

You need to analyze the risk / reward factor for all of these and decide if you will invest in one, two, or all three of these marketing campaigns.

You can find information about each in all of these forums. If you have additional questions there are plenty of us here that are willing to chime in.

Yes, what is coop? You don't mean actually co-op (pay a commission) do you??Amelie, I would go with Gold Guy's advice, he really knows his stuff You really want to get as much input as possbile before spending money on your site. It can be very expensive, and also very profitable, you just have to do it the right way. Especially if you are in a competitive market, like the Las Vegas real estate market, you want to make sure that you set yourself apart from the rest

The co-op ad network works well if you use it in moderation. From what I have seen it may throw off some red flags with these 10k page sites.

If you have a site that's 200-300 it seems to work well.
