Have you tried things like entrecard.com? Blog catalog? I actually started a group on blog catalog for real estate bloggers.

You can also leave comments on dofollow blogs - type in "do follow blog directory" in google & then go from there - just make sure the comments you leave are relevant and not spammy.

There are is blog submission software that will get your RSS feed on 50 directories.

Yes they are rypher21. They are amoung the best ways that I know of.

Most of the time it's not advisable to use automated submission, stay away from those link building software.

Commenting on blogs and submitting to directories is great. And there's a lot more you can do. For starters, you can create free pages on other services like Squidoo and Hub Pages, that are about your blog or your topic...which are tailored to direct more traffic to your blog. Plus, you benefit from the high PageRank of those sites.
