Do you buy links?
If yes, where do you buy your links? What is the average price for a PR4-PR6 link?
If no, why not? What are the techniques you use for link building?
Your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

My guide to link buying
#1Do I buy links. No not really and even if you did you should never mention that in public that you do (one of the unreversible sins of google).
#2 Buying links should only be done if
You find a link that is pr6 or higher (pr7 to be sure if subject of that site is not related to your site)
Link does not say sponsored or advertised links
If you simply want to raise your pr value so you can actually do some interlinking better.
#3 Buying links cost a lot of money as you pay a monthly fee to keep the fees.
#4 While you can hire link ninjas which are prohibitively expensive webuildpages.com/consulting/link-consulting.htm the best kind of link buying is from one on one contact with other site owners who dont know anything about seo but have related topic. In your case you can try to buy links from Cyprus tour operators, moving companies, home services etc who have decent pr by pure coincidence from virgin pages of their sites which there are no other external links but still have a decent pr. A lot of cheap links can be gained that way but there is still a trust issue about the other side erasing your link after getting your money.
#5 If a site is not remotely related to your site I would strongly suggest not buying from them unless they are a pr7 or above. Also read jimboykin.com (owner of we build pages)

I don't have the money to throw at anything like that, it's too expensive and for me a waste of money. If you don't have the time to link build and you have the money, fair play - go for it and tell me what the results are like and you never know.
I don't know any real estate sites that have a pr of 6 or 7 - except realestate.com.

Re: Do you buy links?
Is PR ranking still relevant for links? Or is the relevance of the page more important?

Re: Do you buy links?
NO.
Buying link is general a waste of money. Google has already reduced the PR juice provided from buying links from any of the big sites. For the small sites that have not been downgraded, the SEO benefit would be very small.
I would spend the money instead of advertising, yard sign or going out to a good dinner.

Re: Do you buy links?
I've never bought a link, but I'm aware of the whole industry that exists just to support link buying. It looks like Google's latest updates were designed to fight this more than ever. It does seem like the money is better spent elsewhere.

Re: Do you buy links?
I don't buy links but you can find tons of links for sale on Digital Point Forum.
If you can find cheap relevant links that are any PR I'd say go ahead and get them if: they're contextual and not on a spammy page. Links are less valuable on sidebars and when they are identified as sponsor links. In addition, sitewide links are typically not as valuable as one link on a strong page.
A few nice PR3 or PR4 links on non-spammy pages within relevant text can easily help your SERPs - IMO.
I've seen PR4 links for as low as $5/month and I've seen PR6 links for as high as $150/month. It really depends on relevancy and the amount of outgoing links on the page. If a webmaster has only 4 outgoing links they'll need to charge more than someone with 20, but it'll be worth the extra cost. I wouldn't buy annual links because the website will likely get punished soon and your link value will disappear.
Other ways to build links - blogs, forums, social media, article distribution, link bait, building web pages on high PR domains like squidoo.com, searching for sites that link out to great resources.

Re: Do you buy links?
If they are placing ads stating they sell links, it will only be a matter of time before those links are worth zero SEO. So unless you think that the extra traffic from a link is work the price, I would skip on the link.
