NAR's Center for REALTOR® Technology recently conferred the REALTOR® Secure designation upon RELAY™, a Web-based transaction management system, and Real Estate Business Technologies LLC (REBT), a C.A.R. subsidiary and creator of the RELAY™ application. The designation is based on security standards from the International Standards Organization and the National Institute of Standards and Technology and covers the entire REBT organization, certifying that best practices are in place to protect real estate information and systems from risk.
RELAY™, the result of a collaborative effort between REBT and NAR, also was recently deemed compliant with several stringent security standards following an application security review and audit by Cybertrust Inc., an independent security services specialist. Hailed by industry leaders as a mission critical enhancement to the services provided by REALTORS® to homebuyers and sellers, RELAY™ allows the tracking and management of all information related to a real estate transaction from listing through closing; allows users to enable assistants, other agents or transaction facilitators to participate in the process; and features one-click integration with ZipForm® and WINForms Online®, the electronic forms software used by nearly 300,000 REALTORS® nationwide.
