Well the anticipated rate hike in interest rates caused an unforeseen jump in the stock market today.

While interest rates jumped for the 17th consecutive quarter the stock market is up over 217 points at the time of this post in spite of the quarter point raise.

Was this due to the Fed’s report?

Well, isn't that common sense that when rates are high stock investors rise? I know that there are many Las Vegas real estate investors that have upped their anty in stocks within the last few months. With everyone expecting rates to go up, I had assumed that the stock market would bennefit!
