I apologize for chiming in late, but it looks as though you have received some pretty good advice from our other members so far.
I suppose the question is can you salvage your template site? That will take time to determine.
In as much as the Internet is the “Bread ‘n Butter” for REALTORS® these days, I would suggest that you follow the suggestions given for your template site
AND create a new site with a new domain name. Currently all of your eggs are in one basket and we know what that means.
Starting a new site with new content won’t be easy or cheap, but it is almost a necessity to have more than one site for just these circumstances.
You might also consider hiring an SEO Expert like HHI Golf Guy to build and manage your new site. While I am a licensed REALTOR® in two states, I found out quickly that I can not manage websites and sell property. You may be able to do it but I found that I was doing both poorly and had to choose one. Now my wife is the REALTOR® in the family and things are working much better all the way around.
