Default A little competitor analisis help

Hello PREN forum,

Was hoping to get a little competitor analysis help. As of the past 5 months have not been able to detect what this competing website www.Dot com/ has been doing to steadily improve its rankings to the point of over taking the rankings that my site Morristown NJ Real Estate, Madison NJ Real Estate, Chatham NJ Real Estate, Summit NJ Real Estate has.

Over the past several months I have lost the double possition I had in googles index for this search, and the competitor website has picked up a double possition above the single possition I still hold. Google Search: morristown nj real estate - Google Search

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Same thing is happening on a lot of sites, its a hit that I'm not able to find the reasons behind.

Hi Jared,

I would not say I took a hit, because I really did not, just the other site moved ahead of me for reasons that I cannot see. Basically moved me down 1 or 2 possitions for 4 different keywords out of the 50+ key words I have to work. All the towns around me are small so I have to work each of them in order to rank for each.

But basically I am wondering what this person is doing or having done that has caused there site to rise in googles index. I have not seen any articles published with links back to the site, all the owner of the site is doing is blogging on the on site blog. I blog on 3 different blogs that I own as well as a few others.

Jim

Maybe your links are a bit too inbred and they got neutered.

Yes, this agent picked the same template as I had picked. But that should have very little to nothing to do with what I am asking about.
