Unhappy Question re; my Google Ranked Site...........

Hi All,
As this is a HIGHLY respected group, I needed to ask your opinion re: my website. I have a page where people pay for Ads on our site, and the direct link for that page is:
HomeRun Homes: BUY via Rent to Own at Lease2Buy.com

The problem I am having is this:
15-20 people per day are filling it out, EVEN selecteding a payment option...clicking the button....and going to the Payment page..
but only 2-3 are actually paying !!!!!

I just started offering a free copy of our guide, I have mentioned over and over that it is a secure connection, and I believe it is very clear what they are paying for. So where am I going wrong...

Pulling my hair out here!
Regards,
Rob

Are you sure the forms are being filled out by real people and not bots? You may be able to tell by looking at your raw log files.

If you do have unwanted bot activity you can try setting up a CAPTCHA system to prevent them from tripping the first page of the form.

I went and looked at the check out process. I think the issue is with the paypal page. It very clearly asks for a login. The continue without a login is very small and off to one side. I suggest that you add some directions on your pages to compensate.

Thanks...will definitely try that..

Found this:
"Payment Details" confusing non-member customers PayPal Developer Support Forums

...that's just a heads up to others.....
I am currently looking into a merchant account....this way everything is on the same page.
That should clear it up....if not, I'm checking into the funny farm !

I have an ecommerce site and if the checkout is too involved they will go somewhere else. Get rid of the login.

I am going to add authorize.net merchant account and have checkout right under the form...as I said, if that doesn't work, I am getting myself committed !

The less complicated it is, the better. People get frustrated and they go elsewhere.
