Hi All,
I recently got spanked by Google. I dropped from #5 for my main keyword to being completely out of site. I had some Old redirects ("Refresh") from 2003 in there that I just pointed back to the home page. They flagged my Sitemap and I made corrections and re-uploaded. I'm also thinking since I traded links with a competitor so we can share visitors/business, that that was the problem (I only had 9 links with him), so I yanked that link. Now I am waiting to get reindexed.

Weird though....for rent to own homes where I was 5, I am gone, but homes rent to own and 3 other major keywords, I am #1 to #3. So confusing and SO depressing !

I see you at #2 for rent to one homes. I suspect it was just a refreshing of Google databases and not a penalty that caused the page to be dropped. It's not uncommon for pages to disappear for a day or two, and then resurface at close to their old position.

I just tried again for rent to own homes (no quotation marks) and I am not there.
How are you seeing me?

On my DC you are showing to be in the numbe three spot for the phrase "rent to own homes".

I think that you must have got caught up in an update and now it is readjusting!

The problem is when you search it without the quotation marks.
am usually 4 or 5...but now I am gone

That is exactly how I seached without any quotation marks. The phrase I used was your rent to own homes and I just checked again and you are #3 once again! In MSN you are #6 on my DC as welll!

Yes the site that I'm seeing in the #3 spot on google and #6 in MSN is lease2buy.com .

That is the site you are optimizing correct?

Yep.
This is weird.
Just tried via megaproxy.com.....saw position #3.
But locally on 2 different PCs here, not even in the top 100 (cleared cache as well).

Maybe an update didn't hit New York yet?
I just don't know, but it is ODD !!
