Analytics is a great tool for your web site, especially if you take advantage of the goal tracking options. If you take some time with it, you can really drill down and find some great information and analysis.

Analytics is phenomenal - and free. Most paid solutions can't compete w/ analytics & webmaster tools.

Unless you've got a major enterprise or a high-volume site, google analytics in terms of efficasy is no big deal. But once again -- it's free, customizable and with loads of features. A site having only a few pages might as well benefit from regular traffic analysis applets that come with ur hosting package.

I use Google Analytics all the time. It helps to find out who and where my visitors are coming from. It also gives a more accurate account for visits to the site.

Highly recommend Google Analytics as it breaksdown your different traffic sources and how they behave on your site.
