Thumbs up Google's Potential Superiority

Here is an article written by John Colascione with Searchen Networks about Google's potential Superiority. Its a great read.

Hopefully this does not happen.

Wow! If Google is able to pull that off I think it will change the dynamics of the internet. Wouldn't Google have to have some sort of deal with companies like Sony or JVC in order to sell goods. If Google isn't in the buisness of manufacturing goods ( like headphones) they are gonna need someone to supply them with the products they are pushing. And surely if they were to catch a deal with a major distributor ( like JVC or Sony) wouldn't they (JVC or Sony) feel the pain of Google cutting out places like Circuit City or Best Buy?

Very good read Tony.

I am also concerned about the Google based results now appearing at the top of the real estate SERPs.

Many REALTORS® spend a substantial amount of money on their sites to rank in Google let alone the amounts spent on PPC only to now find themselves in direct competition with Google.

And it is the fact that this places us in competition with Google that alarms me.

While I am never apposed to any business seeking new revenue sources, I am uncomfortable with Google competing with their own customers.

That would be about like me creating a website for a REALTOR® then creating one for myself in the same market.

Troubling isn’t it?

I would only hope that Google will reevaluate this approach.

Just my 2˘ worth,

~VegasMack
