Jared I see on your blog someone tried to beat you up a little about some seo stuff. When are you going to add those posts you mention in this thread and what is the deal with this guy Morgan Carey. It sounds like people all over the web either love him or hate him and I gather he is an SEO like you right?

I'm not an SEO professional I'm a designer and photoshop instructor and people are entitled to what ever opinion they wish to form so I left that comment on my blog but I really don't think the guy was beating me up about it.

The articles I mention above are in draft I just need to have REAL SEO professionals look at it before I post.

Yes Morgan Carey is a very controversial character. And yes he is also very polarizing. It seems as the web community either hates him or loves him and there is no in-between.

I could refer you to some old threads about Morgan Carey and Real Estate Webmasters but an “overzealous” unnamed employee of REW Hacked PREN Forums and deleted multiple threads.

As for comments on Jared’s blog it is standard procedure for Morgan Carey supporters to attack anytime someone posts something negative about him or REW. And it is standard for the attackers to confuse the issue stating that the negative comments about Morgan Carey are coming from a “jealousy competitor”. Your Grand Mother could write something negative about Morgan Carey or REW and she will be portrayed as a “jealousy competitor” by the Morgan Carey Storm Troopers.

And Jared is no more of a competitor of REW that you Grand Mother is. But by your post I can see that Carey’s tactics of misinformation continue to work. But more and more the truth is trickling out.

Mack, even for fear of reprisal and backlash, which I told myself I'd never live in, I must agree.

I've always been a little concerned that people would post that Mack and Jared are twins with an agenda to defame lord Morgan which is not the case.

I have never been his customer, never will be, never will suggest anyone should be and I'm certainly not this guys competition.

I always ask Jamie to read my posts because I sometimes behave like George Bush and shoot from the hip in a cowboy fashion and she just slaps me when I get out of line. But I certainly don't want this guy occupying my time or my mind anymore than what is forced by gunpoint upon me. I'd prefer never having to write about the subject and I've decided recently that I'm not going to try and shine light on events surrounding those people regardless of how I feel. I've come to the conclusion that I can't change their world only my world and I'm not going to even bother with this character.

The motive for my post was informational and baiting to see what other think regarding practices of SEO experts. I'm not against any of them, not even Morgan. I believe him to be a pretty smart guy as I do others. My favorite SEO's are Mack, Greg Boser, Chad Brossourd, and member HHI Golf Guy (not sure which site to link to) because these people are not only informative (they hide nothing from clients) they are ethical and honest.

So this thread is largely written in response to unethical things I've heard about with clients of mine as they vent their frustrations with their "Alleged Professionals". It irritates me to see people act like predators on those who do not understand. I've never respected an opportunist who profits on the meek. Being a professional worthy of hire is one thing, being a scammer bilking your client on things they should NOT be paying for is another.

I'm going to expose it when I can.
