Great question REMAX! I have heard that motorcyles have been appreciating like crazy due to the increase in demand because of gas prices! That does not really deal with real estate, but I thought that I would share it anyways! As far as my vehicle goes, I would not switch cars! Gas prices here seemed to have evened back out

The gas prices are definately on the back of my mind about the issue. I don't plan on changing to a car anytime soon but maybe I will in about six months or so it depends on what happens till then.

I actually cannot complain too awful much about us here in the Las Vegas real estate market. Gas prices are actually lower than they were before Katrina...

Of course,Right now i get rid of SUV's which i love but have no choice but to have a car with small engines such as 1.6.You can save a lot,and also my family decided to have one vehicle instead of two.We always do car pooling.

Re: Gas prices affecting car choices?
Right now we do have a few agents on the team that have commented on this.
Because our team does alot of buyer business here in Minnesota, yes, our agents are certainly finding the cost of gas to affect their choices in automobiles.
Also, with a large supply of homes for sale, buyers, rightfully so, want to see alot of properties.
So the moral of the story, yes, our team and agents on the team are considering if a alternative car is a better route to go to save gas money!

Re: Gas prices affecting car choices?
Not only would I trade for a car with better gas, I use the location of properties as part of the marketing. I will say something like: Save money on gas IF you lived here since it is so close to everything! Always be on the look out for new ways to make your clients properties more attractive. If you are thinking about the price of gas, then so are potential buyers!
