Well I could be wrong cause it was several years ago but I believe he orginally registered that domain name with Godaddy..but again I could be wrong cause it has been some time and to be honest I havent thought about the scammer in a long time.

Hell I just love bashing his ass cause I know he is a scam artist. The problem is no one wants to believe me cause they think I have an axe to grind with him...but just like Jim Messenger who turned his back on me when Morgan did it to me he found out later that he was prone to Morgans attacks as well.

My biggest problem is seeing someone get over on people cause they have the gift of gab and have those who are unsuspecting trust every word that comes out of your mouth without questioning it.

Here is the real issue. People believe he is the only one that can get them rankings, yet how many good rankings does he have for his clients?

He told me at one point I could never do for my sites what he could. Well the sites I have that only a hand full of people know about here on this forum are all tops in Google..Yahoo and MSn for city plus real estate..homes condos and other important key phrases.

My point being is that if some of these people would STOP paying him for work that can be done easy by them, then they could also get the rankings. Hell if I can do anyone can.

Think about this what makes more sense. Getting people top rankings and expecting them to continue using your services or promising future rankings. He strings people along in order to keep his bills paid. SEO/SEM isnt hard. Its not something thats going to happen over night but as an example I have one site I spent 2 weeks on getting backlinks and doing onpage seo and I havent touched that site in over a year and yet it STILL ranks top 10 for major keywords city plus real estate...homes...condos and so on.

Get Smart People...NO ONE should have to or NEED TO paid for seo.

Well. This is one of the more interesting topics that I've come accross. I was a regular over at REW when they were doing it good and I always liked talking with Morgan. What was the only reason I never employed his services? I had previously employed an SEO consultant and professional web designer (not Morgan) to build and rank my site...got taken for about 15,000 on that ride and figured I would learn it all myself. I stopped traveling to REW when Tony launched his network and for the most part, I havent felt any need to see whats up at REW. It's always nice to here past stories...especially the comment about "someone's son would be better off in life without their father." If that's a true tale, what a waste of effort these past few years on REW's business. Business is bussiness, ethics are ethics, and what goes around comes around.

Canada now eh? Shoulda sattled up n made the move accross the pond, maybe give Mr. Rowlsky a ring? REW...seems to me from this thread, someone's been playing around with script kiddies. haha, oh well. I guess any PR is good pr.

Statements like that surprise me only because of the $15k part. I've been in this business for the better part of 8+ years and I've NEVER found a client willing to spend so much money on such a very basic collection of features that wasn't government or municipal.

Maybe I need to rethink and re-evaluate the attitude toward Morgan and just envy the guy. Getting paid doesn't seem to be a problem with him.

It wasn't Morgan that I went through and it was over the course of about 6-8 months that I was paying theese "fees" I speak of. I watched Morgan grow some of his business and loved the channel he was playing on. Peronsally, I have nothing against him...sorta reminds me of me (Think I told him that a few times), but none the less, I like the gossip.

Wow....I am not that saavy but this seems very disgusting. If this can be proven then people must be made aware. I am a member of his forum as well but if this is to be true I will never go there again....except to let others know. I find this disturbing. On the plus side it is nice to finally see some action here, too bad it is for the wrong reasons.

Morgan wouldnt have these channels if it wasnt for the likes of myself and Jim Messenger. Without Jim and I he would have never got off the ground. At that time I was paying Morgan I believe about 2k or 2.5k per month for his services.

Of course he did what he said he would do. He got my Atlanta website to the top 3 in Google in a matter of 5 weeks. However after holding that postion for another 7 or 8 weeks the site fell like a rock in water because of his porn seo mentality. For those that did or didnt know Moragn was an seo for a porn company before he took my idea for him and ran with it targeting real estate agents.

Again I will state the problem here is the fact that people believe every word that comes out of his mouth and they trust the guy. I find that disturbing because I know some of the people that use Morgan Carey/Seo Guy and these are bright people and this amazes me.

Yes it is disgusting but I will make you a bet right here and now. Morgan will convince others and place his spin on it that we all have axes to grind with him. That our motives are purely nothing more that lies or half truths to tarnish his reputation.

I can also make you this wager. Anyone who confronts him with this on REW will be ban.

Gossip can be fun. Interesting though still on the situation you encountered.

#2 I am sorry from Tony I actually was naive enough to have the same password in Wanna Network so I apologize if Morgan dove in there too. Please check your logs for it.

I have seen the screen shots Mack sent me. It is a true invasion of privacy. I asked Mack to remove the IP adresses of all other people so it will probably be posted tomorrow to preserve their privacy. My IP starts with a 24. in Chicago, and the changes that can be recorded in the vbulletin backend. The admin pages show Morgan's edits under my name to be 70. ip adress.

Mack said he will post the screen shots in his server with a link.

I donot know what to say other than I am sorry. I have had no control of my account in REW since Morgan banned me earlier this year for a bad critique of his contextual linking program. I never even assumed he would go in depth to get my password. I am not a friend to him so I can assure you no password sharing occured.

The sad part is this man not only has the right to your privacy not only in REW but also in SEOchat forum (one of the top forums out there) plus his own SEO guy forum. If you are a member in any of those forums make sure those are unique passwords.

It can be proven without a doubt and yes it is very disturbing.

As far as the lack of activity, this forum unlike REW is not and was never intended to be a profit center thus Al and I do not frequent it as often as we would like to.

We are both REALTORS® just like you. And like you we have businesses to tend to.

Unlike REW we allow self-promotion and our competition is allowed to thrive. I believe our Members should have choices. This forum was always intended to promote our Members… not the other way around.

I have always viewed Morgan as a good “Snake Oil” salesman. Pay a high fee for his medicine and your common cold will disappear in 10 days to 2 weeks. Same applies to Morgan’s SEO and linking campaigns. Pay high fees, link to as many sites as possible and you will rank well in a year or so (unless you get banned) OR your competition is willing to pay more. Morgan’s most successful linking campaign is from his client’s websites back to sites owned by him. And instead of paying his clients to advertise for him Morgan sends them a bill.

Pro Real Estate Network is also a place to have a real dialogue without fear of being banned and or losing back links. While Morgan and his employees have been allowed to post here without interference from me or Al, regrettably I must in all good conscience Ban them today.

As far as seeing more action here you can count on it. I intend to devote a great deal more time here to insure this does not happen again.

Once again I urge all of our Members to change their passwords on this or any other forum if you have ever used it on REW. I think it would be a good practice to use unique passwords on each of the forums that you participate in and never re-use any password for email or lead management.
