Jared unless I missed something this thread never got that far out of hand. I am sure that it is being spun worse that it really has been in other forums, but looking back over the thread I really don’t think anyone was that far out of line.

No Mack, me either really, which is why I have not moderated any posts. There were some on the edge conflicts over petty differences of opinion for sure but I would tend to agree that this hasn't been abusive and there really hasn't been name calling or defamation of character.

A person is entitled to express their experiences in dealing with others, we all understand and sometimes get that directed toward us from time to time. God knows I know that I've deserved some flack from people as a result of my number one achilles heal; I'm painfully slow sometimes and have been real bad at prioritizing. I shouldn't take offense to that being pointed out.

If however someone said the quality of my work were dog poop or worse that I wasn't thorough or attentive to details I'd likely challenge it.

I read posts today on several forums and people are now stating that this forum is active in one thread only and its a militant. I don't agree because this kind of discussion would happen in any forum having similar circumstances. REW Blogs and forums reflect a kind of hateful expression and bashing they now accuse this forum of.

What is the old expression?

This is turning into quit the discussion. Maybe we should start a new thread titled Look at us go!" I develope a few js files and throw in a php hack, and theres 8 more pages to this thread. It's the fastest real estate related thread I have ever been involved in. We should all allow Morgan to come on and evaluate what he has to say...only because I'm curious and it's time for a rebutle.

Maybe I'll pop in on REW for a minute and see what's goin on? I feel sick when I go there...it's like I'm watching myself from three years ago. Ah well, I guess I just wanted to break up the chit chatt and throw in some crap...help contribute to the thread a bit. haha.

Thanks for the apology link VM. Looks like he's been eatin some food latly. haha. I gained 40 pounds myself, but it's always funnier to watch someone apoligise after a few extra pounds are introduced.

Oh wait...are these forums written or verbal??? He's off to a good political start, but I aint a politition.

So was he really into the Porn business before this??? I would have rather watched a Sena or Talerico (someone that grew roots in the real estate business) become that apologetic.

That is my understanding. I can neither confirm nor deny it (would explain a few ethics issues).

I could not help but think about that as I was chastised on his blog by a female for using (misusing) a metaphor that has unintentionally offended a few feminist.

Yeah, well. It may be the only point to be made from someone that would feel affended by it and not really understand techy crap. I just layed down a quick entry over there. Wana see if he tells me that I'm not worthy to be on REW. Maybe all my posts will be deleted from a long time ago...haha, hahaha.

You've heard silly talk-show hosts refer top people as Kool-Aid drinkers. A lot of folks don't understand the reference. They just go with it.

Some folks just love a good argument. I'm not part of any spin team. I am not a customer of REW in any way. I have had no business relationship with REW in the past. I've been a member of realestateforum.com since April 2005. I'm a member of the IBS Team forum. I don't post in all of them all of the time. I was pointed to this thread by 3 people, one actually called me and said I needed to chime in. I finally have had time to read every post and at first it was interesting, then it quickly became sad. Every time someone posted anything that didn't fit into the "groups" idea of the truth they got crap. Sure you may not ban people from your forum, but you give very little incentive to those that don't share your idea of the truth to come back.

A forum is only as good as it's members and the ability to have a high clash of ideas without having a high clash of personalities.

While it wasn't every member who took cheap shots, it was enough that each of you should look at your posts and ask yourself if that wording really was appropriate.

Trust me I understand this was a very heated topic for many of you due to past experiences. But please try and remember this is a open forum and your actions reflect on more then just yourself.
