A few weeks ago I announced that we were launching our new site, Welcome! - e-NeighborhoodGuide.com. During that initial release I set up a quick static site. Since then the site has already been revamped using the Joomla! CMS.

A thanks goes out to Jared for answering some Joomla! questions and setting up OpenSEF for the site.

Once again, this site is open to everyone to submit articles on what it is like to live, work, and play in your area (focusing on towns, neighborhoods, or specific residential communities). The new Joomla CMS allows you to easily upload your content, photos, and even video. Check out the Spring Island article to see a Flash video integrated into the article.

If you would like to submit video, I can even convert your video to Flash streaming video - free of charge.

You do not need to link to this (or any) site when you submit an article, so this is a great way to get one way links for your site.

In the future, we'll also be adding other features and enhancements to the site.

One more thing - aside from our normal SEO efforts we will be promoting this site through real estate print media publications. We have already lined up print media advertising in Atlanta, Savannah, Coastal GA, Charleston, Hilton Head, and Orlando markets. By the end of the year we will have print media advertising in 10-15 additional cities throughout the U.S.
