That's right - we're propping up their economy will they keep pegging their currency against our dollar. But don't forget, the Chinese government has invested heavily in our country, especially in Treasuries and currency.
The scary part is that there are many reports that China has recently been developing and building a lot of new military hardware.

The China Threat that paints a pretty scary picture of China. It's a very interesting read.
