I just met a woman with a full-time job who is doing pretty well for herself. She does work a 4-12 shift but on varying days, so she does have some good time frames for most showings.

I was in the business during some bad real estate times & took a full-time job one October to get me through the winter (back then you could go on vacation between Thanksgiving & New Year's as nothing much happened in our area). Figured I'd quit the job in March or April. I loved the job I was in & my boss got our hours to be 10 hrs. a day, 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I was Agent of the Year in my office that year! I kept that job for 3 yrs. until our department got dismantled. They wanted me to stay but I went with my boss to another similar company for a temporary thing. Finally went back into real estate full-time again.

However, during this stint is when I really learned how to use computers (this was before pc's and the Internet were popular). So I learned a lot at that job that helped me in real estate down the road. You do what you have to do...
