Those are great tips, thanks for sharing. I think the easiest one to do is just bring a digital camera and take as many photos as possible. I was interested in a piece of land a month back, and there were so many details to consider about building there that I had to write down a long to-do list just to make sure I would be able to build what I wanted. It ended up not working out, but it's shown that there is a lot of research ahead of me in terms of perk testing, easements, road use, etc. I think going online to research these things will save some time.
