Hi Everyone...I'm new here and couldn't help comment on this thread. Lana, I always give closing gifts to my clients...usually wait a couple weeks and drop it off in person. It gives me a reason to make a connection with them again. I try to personalize the gifts to the client. Sometimes I spend hours searching for something.

The gift baskets is a nice idea. I would definitely put together a flier with the various options to choose from...ways to personalize, packaging and pricing. Many people may want delivery as well. Do you have a "realtor friend"? We have realtor open houses here. When a new home is listed, realtors run around to take a look at the inventory....this happens on designated days. You could have a basket or two there...maybe a drawing from the realtor's cards to see who wins the gift basket. The realtor can advertise the prize which will entice realtors to come to the realtors open (we like free stuff...especially food) Its a way to get the word out and have them seen. Good luck with it!
