Jared you are administrator here too? cool I see you on so many forums and as usual its a pleasure to read your posts.

I'm curious though about your statement regarding paid links. I think you have that mixed up a bit. Paid links are not bad and some companies make a good living on them.

Are you sure you have the right term down "paid links" because I've sold links on one of my sites on my wordpress sidebar to people before and I've never heard anything bad about that.
