Default Marketing of Tomorrow

What will the advertising platforms of tomorrow be?

Could one be social networks? We could all be setting pay-per-click budgets on my space-esque communities instead of google and yahoo. t has potential to be a better platform for marketing, you don't just show ads based on search text, you show them based on every aspect of their personality/age/gender/etc.

Certainly one will be internet video. Will television merge into the internet? I know I prefer internet video to television. It's usually free, the ads are less intrusive, and I can watch my shows whenever I feel like it. But how will this experience change in the future? Perhas we can show advertisements based on demographic of the actual user, not just by guessing which demos watch which shows.

With websites like Zillow and Trulia, could real estate agents become obsolete in the future? If you can browse any house virtually, read it's complete history, set up a showing appointment, or make an offer from your home instantly, why would you need a Real Estate person? Sure Agents provide great advice, but can't that be offered virtually?

What do you think the future holds?
